Name: Karson

Species: Canine

Breed: Australian Shepherd

Age: Three years

Markings: Blue Merle W/ One Blue Eye and One Brown

History: Karson was born and raised for the first eight months of her life on another farm, as the product of two pure bred Australian Shepherds. Her seven brothers and sisters were sold young, but she remained a working dog along side her parents and the other few dogs who resided on the farm. Times were easy, and the dogs grew lazy, and eventually began to resent their work. Karson, an impressionable youngster, was not immune to this fault.

Even when wolves and wild animals came and began to deplete the farm's stock, the dogs simply laughed it off. What harm would it do to lose a few chickens! All the harm in the world, it seemed.

The farm was lost, ransacked in the night, and the cost was too much to bounce back from. The farm was sold, and Karson was seperated from her mother and father, friends, and the home that she grew up with. She was sentenced to a life on Whitethorn Farm, the land that now owned her. There, she made her life, and grew to love the farm. Karson vowed never to let this new home go the way her first had.

She eventually became leader of the animals, and she stands to this day in high authority and respect over all.

I hoped I would still have a place, but apparently not.

I have seen what no parent can teach, and walked a road I wouldn't wish on anyone. I know now that this is my home, and these are my family and friends now.
